Being a new member to this list and a  newish Multistrada owner in western 
Colorado, I've been concerned about where to take my 04, out of warranty, to 
have the valve guides checked and replaced if needed. I checked the valve 
clearance on the bike in September and found 3 loose valves, but also the 
valves seem to have too much side play. Unfortunately I got in a rush to 
ride, and not having quick access to shims I put it back together without 
taking the time to measure valve guide clearance thinking if the guides need 
replacing they will have to be reset.

Erico seems to be the best known dealer in Co. yet I've seen a few negative 
posts on them recently. Has anyone been delighted with spectacular service 
from them? Are there any options closer than California?
