the service bulletin says that the valve guides for 1000ds engine have been improved (material from memory) due to some showing premature wear and then gives a range of chassis or engine numbers from which said improved guides are fitted ex factory.  it's not a recall or we will do all this for free if your engine is earlier than the improved guide introduction date, it's just a service bulletin.  contact your dealer for more info.
