well, since F1 and motogp are there for similar reasons, i think this is
pretty relevant stuff.  we can use f1 to find out which rules work and
which don't in motogp :)

exactly!!!  it would also force tire manufacturers to make tires that
last a full distance.  and then there would be no way to move up the
field unless you actually pass.  granted, monaco would prolly have to be
taken off the calendar (and about time)
