[Ducati] Misc ponderings about regulators

My 907's regulator gave up after 14 years and 32,000 miles.  It happened 100 miles from home of course.  I had heard good things about the Electrex units so I ordered one.  After waiting 3 weeks for it to come I found out they were having trouble getting them shipped over from Taiwan.  I found one at regulatorrectifier.com made by Rick's.  It was only $99.00 and came right away.  Works good so far.
