[Ducati] Misc ponderings about regulators

Ya know Garth , the biggest issue is in design and suppliers. They never
work in the same building let alone the same room. You see it in Automotive
manufacture all the time, but not as bad as it used to be as they have
finally wisened up and taken the approach of some of the more successful
Japenese companies (Honda). The idea is to have everyone on the same page by
having the Engineers , designers , Suppliers and so on work in the same
building with no walls between the departments. Bob Lutz saw the wisdom of
this appraoch when he stepped in at MOPAR and designed and built the Viper
in three years with little to no problems. More manufactures are starting to
see the wisdom of this approach and reaping the benifits of a good solid
product. Anyway, that's how I see it.
