About the 2CV filters :
A coworker is using that kind of filter on is race track 748 (or 9
never seen the bike) and his 620 monster to go to work (70 000 km and
counting).
With complete satisfaction
I bought one at Citroen's for 8 euro. it is a purflux ls131(
http://www.filtrauto.com/catalogues/FO/scripts/cat_fich_filtre.php?lang=FR&ref_filtre=LS131)
Ducati OEM is 8,30 euro, saw it at the supermarket for 8,5 euro ! There
aren't many 2cv left on the roads spare parts are getting rare, but the
widespread availlability of these filters kept Ducati's prices low

I cut the LS131 open to check the amount of paper and pressure valve, I
still have to cut the Ducati open. Will post pictures later.
