[Ducati] 749 Exhaust

I have a 2004 749 dark and I am contemplating after market exhaust.  At this point I have done some research on the following exhaust systems:

Remus Titanium Exhaust Systems 
Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust Systems 

I would love to hear from someone who has either of the above systems on their bike or of any other aftermarket exhaust systems that anyone can personally recommend.

Plus, I have also thought about in the short term eliminating the catalyst converter?  Looked into Leo Vince Exhaust Link pipe to eliminate the catalyst converter.  Has anyone gone this route, and what were the results?
