[Ducati] 2005 999 suspension settings

Hi,
 Has anyone tried the recomended suspension settings from Sport Rider  that were published for the 2005 999?  The stiffening of the bike seems relatively normal but I'm struggling with the idea of raising the front and rear ride height.  Your thoughts or experiences would be helpful.  By the way I'm 6"2" and 225 lbs. I have installed the Cycle Cat rearsets which benefit us taller riders.  The bike is used for weekend rides up into the Sierra Mountains in California.  Runs great at 10000 feet.
