you have to ask? maybe you should come out to the bay area where there
is a scary number of riders who's first ride is, or rather was, a 749 or
999...
another thing about the cager in question: there was obviously a ton of
bikes behind them because they got passed by many bikes immediately
after slowing down. they were probably blocking the way refusing to
pull over at the next opportunity for miles.
and why the hell were they video recording this in the first place?
were they expecting an altercation? I have done some stupid passes on
some of the twisties in california when some cager wants to play
road/speed limit guardian. in group rides I'll sometimes jump ahead of
the vehicle in question, slow down to a crawl and give hand signals to
my group when it is safe to pass. then I wave kindly to the cager (the
middle finger very rarely goes up) and go on our merry way. granted,
I'd never do it in the corner...
