[Ducati] RE: Water at the MotoGP

Someone was bitching about Ducati Island not having enough shady space for
50,000 people, and also bitching about their lack of water for one of the
hottest, unexpected heat waves to hit the area.

Before I left on Thursday to go to Laguna Seca, I checked weather
underground and accuweather, which all said highs of about 83 degrees over
the weekend. SO, first of all, no one expected the heat, and water doesn't
magically appear when we want it.

Second, and some of you already know this, Ducati does NOT control their
water supply at Laguna Seca. In fact, Ducati CANNOT provide its own water.
All the water MUST be supplied through Coca Cola at inflated prices. So, if
you're gonna bitch at anyone, bitch at Coca Cola, not at Ducati.

Lastly, if you're gonna bitch and you think YOU can do it better, put your
name on the volunteer list, and let the organizers know you'll magically
solve whatever problems crop up next year.

I thought that, given the circumstances, the response to the heat was as
well as anyone could have done.

Giuseppe
